Netflix announced its Top 10 movies and shows for the week of April 6, 2026, showing what audiences worldwide are watching.
On the film side, Thrash, a shark-infested hurricane thriller starring Phoebe Dynevor, stormed to No. 1 with 37.7 million views. The documentary The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson, which revisits the life and death of the murdered cyclist, followed at No. 2 with 7.3 million views.
For TV, Trust Me: The False Prophet, a docuseries about Samuel Bateman, debuted at No. 1 with 9.8 million views. Teen drama XO, Kitty (Season 3) held steady at No. 2, while kids-and-family series Danny Go! ranked No. 3.
Other notable entries include Love on the Spectrum (Season 4) at No. 5 and Dan Levy’s comedy thriller Big Mistakes at No. 9. Mystery thriller His & Hers, starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, entered the Most Popular list at No. 10 with 98.2 million views.
International titles also made an impact. German dog comedy Eat Pray Bark topped non-English films with 6.3 million views, while Italian dramedy Feel My Voice debuted at No. 2.
In non-English TV, Korean boxing drama Bloodhounds (Season 2) hit No. 1 with 7.4 million views, and Norwegian crime series Jo Nesbo’s Detective Hole held No. 2. French Caribbean family crime drama Bandi debuted at No. 6.
