TECNO has rolled out the Spark 50 5G in the Philippines on Shopee Mall. The phone is for budget-conscious consumers who want 5G, a big battery, and AI features without spending too much.
The phone comes in two configurations: 4GB+128GB for ₱7,303 and 8GB+256GB for ₱10,999. Both are May 4 launch prices on Shopee.
The Spark 50 5G sports a 6.78-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chip with 4GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, expandable via TECNO’s memory expansion up to 12GB hybrid RAM.
Battery is one of its main selling points. It packs a 6,500mAh unit with 45W fast charging. TECNO says it can handle 15 hours of YouTube playback or 9 hours of PUBG gaming, and the battery health is rated to last six years before dropping to 80 percent.
For cameras, you get a 50MP main sensor with AI tools like FlashSnap, Best Moment, and AI RAW Algorithm. The front has an 8MP selfie camera, while video recording goes up to 2K at 30fps.
The design is slim at 8.18mm and comes in four colors: Fantasy Purple, Champagne Gold, Titanium Grey, and Ink Black. It also features MIL-STD-810H and IP64 dust/water resistance for durability, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IR Blaster, DTS Sound, and NFC connectivity.
On the software side, it runs Android 16 with HiOS 16. TECNO bundles its Ask Ella assistant and AI Studio tools like AI Erase 2.0, AI Image Extender, and AIGC Portrait 3.0.
