Swatch and Audemars Piguet’s latest collaboration, the Royal Pop pocket watch, officially landed in the Philippines today, drawing long lines at Swatch Greenbelt and Alabang Town Center. Fans (and scalpers) queued early in the morning to grab one before stocks ran out.
The Royal Pop features eight bioceramic pocket watch variants, powered by Swatch’s SISTEM51 manual‑wind movement with a 90‑hour power reserve. The design borrows from Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak, featuring the iconic octagonal bezel, “Petite Tapisserie” dial, and luminous hands.
Two styles are available. The Lépine versions (crown at 12) include six colorful models, priced at ₱27,000. The Savonette versions (crown at 3 with small seconds) come in two designs, priced at ₱29,000.
Adding to its appeal, Audemars Piguet announced that 100% of proceeds will go to programs that preserve traditional watchmaking skills.

As with past Swatch collaborations, demand was overwhelming. Early buyers lined up hours before opening, and stocks are likely sold out by now.
