Tecno launches Pova 8 with 8000mAh battery

Tecno has launched the Pova 8 in India. The mid‑range phone is built for endurance with an 8000mAh battery, a fast display, and 5G connectivity.

The Pova 8 comes with a 6.76‑inch FHD+ IPS display running at a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chip, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB, giving enough room for multitasking and gaming. Tecno says the phone can maintain stable 90fps on titles like Mobile Legends and Honor of Kings.

For cameras, you get a 50MP main sensor and an auxiliary lens at the back, plus a 13MP selfie shooter. Other features include NFC, IR, a side fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers. The phone also has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Battery life is the highlight. It packs an 8000mAh battery, supports 45W fast charging (50% in 35 minutes) and 10W reverse charging. It runs on HiOS 16 based on Android 16.
