Google July system update brings Play Store and subscription fixes

Google pushed its July 2026 system update with small but useful changes for Android users. The update focuses on the Play Store, Google One, and Maps, making everyday use a bit smoother.

The Play Store now works better on large screens like foldables and tablets. Layouts show more content with less scrolling. In Europe, AI-generated images in app listings will carry labels so users can easily spot AI content.

Google One also gets a faster in-app purchase flow. Subscriptions and cloud storage upgrades are now easier to manage.

Maps continues to see refinements for navigation and discovery. Developers also gain new tools for Maps-based apps, extending support across Android Auto, TVs, PCs, and Wear OS.

The July update rolls out through Google Play services, the Play Store, and other system components. Devices will get it gradually over the next weeks.
