The Philippines ranks 3rd globally in Canva AI usage, showing how fast Filipinos are adopting AI tools for school, work, and business. Canva Head of AI Products Danny Wu told BusinessWorld that the country is one of Canva’s “hottest and most popular” AI markets.
Canva said its AI features have been used 32 billion times worldwide. A big part of this growth is Canva Code, which lets users build interactive web content like landing pages, widgets, and trackers using simple prompts. Since its launch last year, more than 6 million products have been created with the tool.
In the Philippines, teachers and school administrators are among the most active users. They use Canva Code to make self-grading assessments, store data in learning systems, and cut down repetitive tasks.
Businesses and entrepreneurs are also using Canva Code. Many are moving past static visuals to create interactive assets that connect better with customers. Canva’s “vibe coding” tool has pushed a 25% rise in monthly active users, pointing to prompt-based coding as a new workplace skill.
