TCL has announced the P80 Ultra, P80 Pro, and P80, a new smartphone series built around AMOLED displays and extended software support. The Ultra and Pro models feature TCL’s AMOLED-based NxtPaper tech, while the standard P80 offers a more affordable option without it.
The P80 Ultra comes with a 6.83-inch AMOLED NxtPaper screen. It reduces blue light to 2.9 percent, uses circular polarization for better viewing with polarized glasses, and adds anti-glare Nano Crystal Shield Glass. The display reaches 3,200 nits of brightness, supports a 120Hz refresh rate, and covers the full DCI-P3 color space.
Inside, it runs on the Dimensity 7400 Elite chip with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It has a 5,800mAh battery with 45W charging.
Cameras include a 50MP main with OIS, a 50MP 3x periscope with OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide. A 32MP selfie camera sits up front. The phone is IP68 and MIL-STD-810H rated. TCL promises four OS upgrades and seven years of security patches.
The P80 Pro keeps the same AMOLED NxtPaper display and chipset. It has dual cameras, a 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide, with the same battery, storage, and durability ratings as the Ultra. The P80 drops NxtPaper but still uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel. Storage options are 128GB or 256GB.

NxtPaper features include Max Ink mode, which reduces notifications, extends battery life up to seven days, and gives access to 500 preloaded books. AI Reading can turn e-books into audiobooks or podcast-style playback.
Price and Availability
The TCL P80 Ultra starts at €549 (around ₱40,000) for the 8GB+256GB model. The P80 Pro costs €429 (₱31,300), while the P80 is the most affordable at €349 (₱25,400). The series will roll out in markets soon.
