PLDT Home Life and mWell have launched the mWell Family Plan 399 for PLDT Home Fiber subscribers. The new digital health package gives families affordable access to medical checkups, health tracking tools, and mental wellness support.
High healthcare costs cause many Filipino families to delay doctor visits. Department of Health data shows that 44.7% of healthcare expenses in the country come directly out of pocket. Inflation has also increased everyday living costs, forcing people to postpone medical care until minor issues become costly emergencies.
The mWell Family Plan 399 addresses these financial barriers for 399 pesos per month. It covers up to four family members with unlimited teleconsultations from licensed general practitioners and mental health coaches.
Subscribers can use the mWell Fam Dashboard to track health metrics for their household in real time. The subscription also includes the mWellness Score and Mind Health Score to monitor physical activity, sleep, and emotional well-being.
PLDT Home Fiber customers also receive a free mWell Prestige Watch that syncs with the app to track steps, heart rate, and sleep quality. The primary account holder gets PHP 20,000 in annual Personal Accident Insurance coverage.
While digital care does not replace emergency hospital visits, the service makes routine medical advice quick and simple. Families can consult doctors without paying high clinic fees or traveling long distances.
