Twitter is abuzz with comments about Senator Juan Miguel “Migs” Zubiri’s impending resignation from Philippine senate. The name “Migs Zubiri” and the word “senator” are now trending on the microblogging site.
The Philstar reported earlier that Senator Zubiri has personally informed Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile of his intention to resign due to the upcoming investigation on poll fraud allegations during the 2007 elections. Senator Zubiri is about to announce his resignation through a privilege speech at 3pm today. Philstar’s source said that the senator is resigning out of delicadeza and to spare his family and the institution from the controversy.
The Commission on Elections and the Department of Justice are about to start a joint investigation into the alleged election fraud in 2004 and 2007. Former Maguindanao election supervisor Lintang Bedol is said to testify on during the investigation.

ok he has resigned but it is not clear whether there is 100% degree of honor to be given to him. If I were toquantify if he resigns on the following years, i would give him 94-100% 2007;86-93% 2008; 79-85% 2009; 73-78%-2010;66-72% 2011. I would be a little bit understanding and lenient, therefore he receives a 75% degree of honor in his resignation.
