Microsoft has already previously indicated that Windows 8 will be compatible with Windows 7 systems. At the developers’ preview of the new Windows OS, Microsoft surprised many when it announced that the minimum system requirements will be much lower than those of Windows 7.
Steven Sinofsky, President of Windows and Windows Live, mentioned at the Build 2011 keynote that low end netbooks with an early generation Atom processor and 1GB of RAM can run Windows 8 well, in fact better than Windows 7, since Windows 8 requires fewer system resources.

how about the driver for windows 8.
Windows 8 developer? you cant remove the watermark totally. Their is no loader yet and i install it on my asus eeepc netbook and it eats 312 mb of my ram at start up and128 mb on standby. I have 2 Gig of ram, it ate 746 mb when i open Google chrome. Microsoft office word and a new folder, what the f—-. windows 7 pro boot time 15 sec = windows 8 developer boot time 18 sec. The new windows is totally vista upgrade and no earo. Screen resolution is Fucken big.

i want to have my windows 7 ultimate 64bits upgraded to windows 8 . . .
but i have a dozen of problems . . .
1. will i get reported for having an OS hacked ?? (removeWAT)??
2. i want to keep all of my files without the need of any back up(is this possible ) :DD (sorry for this dumb question)??

You are worried about an OS phoning home when it can at any point? and again you are concerned when you openly posted it was stolen on a blog? Why dont you just buy it? Support them. You can get copies of Windows for $120 on newegg.

shit, microsoft eats 281 MiB when nothing running – linux can eat 281 MiB of RAM with launched firefox, music player and libreoffice! ( without nothing launched it can eat 25 MiB!
Windows 8 introduces 8 seconds boot on intel i7 , Linux can boot in 8 seconds on an asus eeepc!
