Samsung started the “phablet” trend with the Galaxy Note, LG followed with the Optimus Vu, and now HTC is rumored to be preparing its own version of the hybrid phone/tablet device. The Verge reported that HTC will be launching a 5-inch device in September or October of this year.
If this is true, HTC will be unveiling an impressive device since the rumored specs include a full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. If that’s not enough to get you excited, reports also say that the HTC device will pack a Qualcomm’s MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 SoC processor running a speed of 1.5GHz paired with an Adreno 320 GPU. A high definition screen with a fast processor is something HTC needs to stop the recently reported decline in sales.
If HTC is indeed going to release a 5-inch “phablet”, it’s interesting to know if it will also support stylus input similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note and the LG Optimus Vu.

Let’s give it a try. This hybrid/phone tablet or we may call “phablet” by HTC is another innovation from mobile phone family which is now installed with features like a tablet. Maybe it costs higher, but for sure it is worthy buying.
This would be another OVERPRICED product from HTC
Agree! Can’t pay more for a device that has a battery not suited for Smartphones.
