TV personalities like Arnold Clavio are up in arms against “rape” jokes used by comedian Vice Ganda which made fun of Jessica Soho, currently the Vice President for News and Public Affairs of GMA. Vice Ganda uttered the jokes during his recent concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The joke involved Vice Ganda allegedly acting out situations on how famous personalities would act if they were boldstars. One joke mentioned Jessica Soho, with Vice Ganda saying that the movie title of her launching movie would be “Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Sobra” and that if she would use a weighing scale, one would hear the words “One at a time, one at a time.”
The controversial rape joke had Vice Ganda tell the audience that the rape scene involving Jessica Soho would have to be a gang rape and that the scene would show the rapists shouting “Ipasok ang lechon!”.

This is obviously gma stations propaganda to bring down Vice… This is not the first time Vice Ganda threw a “RAPE” joke in a performance. How come people are over reacting because the subject is JESSICA SOHO? is it because she is the “great” JESSICA SOHO? bakit walang nag react dati noong si “MAHAL” ang ginawang joke about rape before? This is what’s good about Vice, Ano man ang iyong katayuan, posisyon, pagkatao, o kalagayan, di niya ito ginagawang harang para makapagdeliver ng kung ano man ang nasa kanyang utak. And for Arnold Clavio who was asking bkt in taga ABS ang gawing subject ng jokes… Hello? halos 90% ng mga celebrities n tinira ni Vice sa concert nya are from ABS… It is so mysterious how it took GMA 2 weeks to react about this case… Kailangan talaga 2 weeks preparation? Chance n ba ito? I didn’t know about it either until someone made it known to the public. Hindi naman kasi lahat tayo nanonood sa mga palabas ni Vice Ganda eh.
Di ako galit sa bakla. Pero bihira ang lalaki natutuwa kay vice ganda. Pag natuwa a kay VG duda ako sa pagka lalaki mo tsong. Lahat ng kumpare ko at mga barkada inis dyan kay VG. Marami ako barkada bakla pero di foul mouted gaya nya. Taka talaga ako bat sikat sya. Di sinisiraan ng GMA si VG sinasabi lang nila ang dapat. Alan K is bading pero sobrang galing sa trade nya. Sana naman umayos si VG lagi pa naman sya napapanood ng mga anak ko.

The way everyone’s reacting to his Jessica Soho joke makes me wonder why has everyone suddenly become aware of Vice’s apparent tastelessness ? He’s been like this even before but no one dared to correct him…. Shempre up until he crosses someone that we feel deserves to be respected!

This is long overdue! He’s been like this since he started. Remember that live awkward argument with Tado? .. On that noontime show episode, Vice completely lost it. He just couldn’t take a joke not even directed to him and really went for it!!! He was arrogant , full of pride and showed no courtesy at all towards a guest they had on the show.
This is a reflection of how as a society, we Filipinos pick and choose the kind of people which we feel deserves our respect. It was ok for everyone that Vice was bastos to a longhaired, D list celebrity comedian; but he can’t be like that to Jessica soho! No way!

At Shempre no one had the spine to tell Vice that he sometimes acts like an arrogant, tasteless, conceited person up until Arnold Clavio stated the obvious.
I might be wrong, but from the statements on the previous paragraphs , it could be deduced that the average Juan.
a) Chooses not to accord every person the same amount of courtesy and respect.
b) Lacks the courage to be the first one to point out and do what is right.

vice ganda’s followers are damn stupid. no matter what you say guys(vg followers) vice ganda’s act is truly below the belt in every angle possible. remember vice FAME ISN’T FOREVER.
