Cherry Mobile just unveiled another entry to its Android line-up. The Cherry Mobile Burst 2.0 is a 4.5-inch device that retails for only P4,699. It’s only about P700 more expensive than the Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 but you’ll get better features with the Burst 2.0. The new Cherry Mobile phone is still quite affordable but since it’s cheap, there are trade-offs. The display, for instance, only features 854×480 resolution (217ppi). This is not good as the display measures 4.5 inches but considering the price, it is acceptable.

The other trade-offs relate to the RAM and internal storage. The Cherry Mobile Burst 2.0 only packs 512MB of RAM and has 4GB internal storage. The limited storage is fine since there is a microSD card slot if you need expansion but the 512MB RAM is simply not adequate especially since the Burst 2.0 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Here are the main specs of the Cherry Mobile Burst 2.0.
