The successor to the hot-selling Samsung Galaxy S Duos has been outed in India where the original was popular. The Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 (GT-S7582) has been listed in Samsung’s Indian website and priced at 10,999 Indian rupees, or about US$175, or roughly Php7,525 in Philippine peso. That’s not cheap considering its mediocre specs and considering the options available in this price range. A mid-range Nokia Lumia or the highly praised Moto G from Motorola are way better options.
In any case, if you’re still interested in the Samsung Galaxy Duos 2, the main specs include a 4-inch, 800 x 480 screen, a 1.2GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD storage expansion up to 64GB, 1,500mAh battery, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA font camera, and dual-SIM functionality. The phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Recently, a rumor that an official kitkat software update for S Duos 2 GT-7582 will be out on April 2014.
Btw, the flash is excellent too. The Duos 2’s 5mp camera and flash totally kicked the LG l7 Dual in terms of brightness and picture quality. The Duos’ flash is even brighter than Samsung Win’s, which is a tad yellowish for some reason.
hajiwhatever I’m not sure about the other SM malls ‘coz the only mall I checked was the Samsung store in SM Annex. But if it’s available there, it’s surely available in all Samsung stores.
DJ_Nina is the samsung s duos 2 was already release in sm stores?
SM North EDSA’s Samsung store or CMK Cellphones in West Ave. It’s a dual core phone too, and I got mine for P7,800 from CMK. Pretty nice phone, with a 720p video recording.
