Anino Games (Alamat Interactive Inc.), a local game development studio, has released a Pinoy endless runner game called Manila Rush. Your goal is to help Miguel run through the highways of Manila as he races against the clock to get to work on time. Like most endless runner games, you have to swipe across the screen to navigate the character through cars and obstacles.
The game has a few kinks (responsiveness issues, compatibility with other phones), but works well enough. The graphics are nicely made, and the background music is likeable. This is a good start to Filipino mobile gaming, and hopefully, more will come.
Manila Rush is available for Android, with news of an iOS version on the way.

What do you mean by “a good start to Filipino mobile gaming”? We’re done being on the “start” phase. Unless you’re unaware of Streetfood Tycoon. Even the maker of Manila Rush, Anino Games, have already produced at least 2 good mobile last 2013. Mochibits also already produced quality games the past year. Ever heard of Street Food Tycoon?

It’s not the first game that Filipino game developers have created, there’s already a lot of Filipino games released, you just need to search for them, so ‘start’ is not appropriate for the said title.
Sorry, I must have missed that one. Nevertheless, having more Pinoy games on Google Play is always a good thing for the industry.
