Samsung Galaxy W is now official with 7 inch display

Samsung has made official the Galaxy W through an announcement by SK Telecom in Korea. It will have a ginormous 7 inch screen and a 1.2GHz quad core CPU. It has the updated look of most Galaxy phones (small bezels on the sides), and the stitched faux leather back.

I wonder why they opted to go with Android 4.3, seeing as some of their releases are now on KitKat. Anyway, the phablet is only announced in Korea for now and will retail for 499,400 won (roughly P21,500).

Key Specs:

  • 7 inch HD screen
  • 1.2GHz quad core CPU
  • 16GB of storage
  • 1.5GB of RAM
  • 8MP rear camera
  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean
