TAGUIG, Philippines – November 2014 – Philippine ICT distributor, MEC Networks Corporation officially launched partnership with Bosch Security Systems, a global supplier of security, safety, and communications products, solutions, and services, last November 18 at the Privé Luxury Club, The Fort Strip, Bonifacio Global City. The partnership extends MEC’s solutions portfolio on Physical Security to include reliable, scalable, manageable, and enterprise-grade surveillance system.
The partnership between two formidable names in the Physical Security industry leverages the strengths and competencies of MEC as a value-added distributor in the country, going beyond providing products but also offering knowledge transfers and support services to clients, and Bosch as a producer of future-oriented technology and groundbreaking inventions, highly investing on research and development and patent application.
“Our mission actually here in the Philippines with Bosch is to bring our products closer to the market. So what we did is we build up a team here in the Philippines to be closer to our partners, to be closer to the end-users so we can push our products into the market,” said Matthias Böhm, Country Manager of Bosch Security Systems. “We want also to have a partner on which we can rely on, which has the same missions and visions as we have and this we found in MEC,” added Böhm.
The partnership launch featured Bosch’s security solutions which include the 2,000, 4,000, and 5,000 IP video series for the economical line and the 7,000, 8,000, and 9,000 IP video series for the high-end line. Among the notable features of Bosch IP video solutions are intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction (iDNR), intelligent Auto Exposure (iAE), intelligent Tracking (iTracking), intelligent Video Analysis (iVA), starlight, and ultra HD, which are all free and native to the cameras.
