It looks like popular accessories maker UAG accidentally outed the Samsung Galaxy S8.
Samsung Galaxy S8 UAG Case
At this point, there’s not much information about the Galaxy S8 let alone the official design. Heck, there isn’t even an official launch date yet. But it looks UAG beat Samsung to the punch in the unveiling of their latest flagship.
Accessories maker UAG listed its latest line of cases for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 on its website (the link is no longer active, BTW), and accidentally revealed some of the flagship’s key design elements. First of, it looks like the hardware button and capacitive keys are no longer there. And along the sides of the earpiece, there appear to be an iris scanner (launched with the Note 7), the front camera, and a few more sensors.
The pill-shaped fingerprint scanner is now at the back beside the camera (sorry, no dual cameras here). And there seem to be an additional button on the side — which may be Samsung’s button to call rumored AI virtual voice assistant Bixby.
So far, that’s all we can tell from the images. Aside from the small bezels, the Galaxy S8 is expected to arrive with a new Exynos processor, 4GB RAM, an even better camera (than the S7’s before it), and a better (and safer) battery.
