HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, recently announced that they are bringing back the iconic brand to the Philippines.
Welcome home Nokia
Exciting news for Nokia fans! HMD Global has announced the impending arrival of several Nokia smartphones and feature phones in the country. According to the source, the first to arrive will be the Nokia 150 Dual SIM (Php1,500), the Nokia 216 Dual SIM (Php1,790) and the Nokia 230 Dual SIM (Php2,890).
Other handsets set to arrive include the much celebrated revamped Nokia 3310, along with Android powered smartphones Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. We have to wait awhile though as the launch date is scheduled on June 2017.
So far, there are no prices announced for the Nokia 3310, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. But I’m expecting (or rather hoping) that it will be somewhere in the Php3,000 (3310), Php7,000, Php10,500 and Php13,000 ranges respectively.
