After a celebrated debut at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra finally arrives in Philippine shores!

Sony is strengthening their portfolio in the country by introducing the Xperia XA1 Ultra to the market. With the phone, they intend to set a high bar in the mid-range category — an area full of competitive devices that balance price and performance.
The Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra features a huge 6-inch full HD IPS display surrounded by ultra thin bezels, and topped off with a 2.5D scratch resistant glass. It has an precision cut aluminum frame, designed to give it a premium feel as well as added strength; while the back uses a polycarbonate plate.
Powering the phone is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P20 processor. It is paired with 4GB RAM and a Mali-T880MP2 graphics chip. It comes with a generous 64GB of storage, expandable up to 256GB via a hybrid SIM slot.
As for the cameras, the XA1 Ultra boasts a 23MP rear camera backed by a 1/2.3-inch Exmore RS mobile sensor and a bright f2.0 lens. Meanwhile, the 16MP front camera has a wide 23mm lens and an Optical Image Stabilizer for near perfect selfies.
Lastly, the XA1 Ultra packs a non-removable 2,700 mAh battery. Given the 6-inch display, it probably could have benefited from a larger battery. But it does support quick charging, allowing users to get a few hours of use in just a few minutes.
The Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra is now available with a retail price of Php21,990. You can grab one at Sony Centres, Sony Mobile Stores and authorized dealers nationwide.
