Nokia 2 launches in India. The entry-level device features a 5-inch display, a quad-core Snapdragon 212 processor, and a large 4,100 mAh battery.

Nokia recently unveiled the Nokia 2, an entry level device which promises up to 2 days of battery life.
The Nokia 2 has a 5-inch HD LTPS display, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It has a polycarbonate body with a 6,000 Series Aluminum frame. Inside, the handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM and just 8GB storage. It does come a microSD expansion slot that supports up to 128GB.
One of its more prominent feature is its 4,100 mAh battery. According to HMD Global, usage of around 5-hours a day can net the user 2-days of battery life.

The handset runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat with an update to Oreo coming sometime in the future. It also has access to Google Assistant, which HMD Global says makes this the first entry level device to do so.
The Nokia 2 will have a suggested retail price of EUR 99 (roughly PHP6,000). HMD Global will launch it in India sometime mid-November. No news yet if the phone will be available in the Philippines.
