You can now activate Dark Theme on the YouTube mobile app on iOS. The feature will be available in Android soon.

The new theme was announced via Team YouTube’s Twitter account.

YouTube app’s Dark Theme is now available in iOS. Just go to the app’s settings to toggle it on and off.

At the moment, it’s only available in iOS. When asked when the theme will be available in Android, Team YouTube comments that its coming soon.
