The Fitbit Versa officially launches in the Philippines. The smartwatch has a suggested retail price of PHP13,890, and is now available in Digital Walker, Globe, Liberty, Runnr, and Lazada.

The Versa comes in a lightweight aluminum case with a touchscreen display. It has a new dashboard that allows for quick and easy access to health and fitness data.

The new smartwatch is powered by Fitbit OS 2.0, and features an improved 24/7 PurePulse heart rate tracking, Sleep Stages and Insight monitor, an on-screen personal workout coach in Fitbit Coach, over 15 Exercise modes, storage for music, and more.

As a fitness device, the Versa is water resistant up to 50 meters, allowing tracking while swimming. It also has a four day plus battery life, something that current smartwatches find hard to deliver.

On May 2018, the Fitbit Versa and the Fitbit Ionic will add the following features:

  • Quick replies – Android mobile users can respond with five custom quick replies of 60 characters or less to text messages, and messenger apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.
  • Female health tracking – The app will help women track their menstrual cycle, view holistic health data in one place, and better understand its connections to their overall health.

Fitbit Philippines also announced the Fitbit Ace, a sports tracker for kids. It will be available sometime in June, Q2 2018.

Fitbit Versa is now available in the Philippines suggested retail price of PHP13,890 in black with a black aluminum case, gray with a silver aluminum case, or peach with a rose gold aluminum case. Fitbit Versa Special Edition will retail for PHP15,590. The Versa is now available in Digital Walker, Globe, Liberty, Runnr and Lazada.
