Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ now official in the Philippines

The Samsung Galaxy A6 and the Galaxy A6+ launches in the Philippines. The handsets feature 18.5:9 Super AMOLED Infinity displays.

Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ Philippines

Samsung Philippines today announced the Galaxy A6 and A6+ to the country. The handsets boast Super AMOLED 18.5:9 Infinity displays, with the A6 having a 5.6-inch HD and the A6+ with a 6-inch full HD.

The Galaxy A6 features a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. The handset comes with a 16MP rear and 16MP front cameras, dual SIM support, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face recognition, NFC, and a 3,000 mAh battery. It runs on Samsung Experience on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Galaxy A6+, on the other hand, comes with a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. In the camera department, it has a dual 16MP + 5MP rear shooter, with the front camera using a 24MP sensor. The phone also has dual SIM support, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, face recognition, NFC, and a larger 3,500 mAh battery. It also runs on Samsung Experience, based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Samsung Galaxy A6 will have a suggested retail price of PHP 16,400, while the Galaxy A6+ is priced at PHP 22,990. Both smartphones will be available in stores starting June 9, 2018.
