Huawei Nova 3 with display notch will launch this July

The Huawei Nova 3 was teased in a poster released by Huawei through their Weibo account. The image shows the smartphone’s front and back, revealing design elements similar to that of the Huawei P20 Lite.

As shown on the poster above, the Nova 3 will have a display notch that’s bigger than usual. The reason behind this is the dual front cameras, aside from the sensors and earpiece. You can also see the dual rear cameras, as well as a glass-like back panel.

Recently, the handset was certified in TENAA, allowing us to find out more about its  specifications. The Nova 3 will feature a 6.3-inch full HD display with a 19:9 ratio and a 2340 x 1089 resolution. As listed, it will be powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor, though a Kirin 710 is expected. It will also come with 6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage.

As for its cameras,  the phone will come with will have a 16MP primary camera, and a 24MP secondary monochrome sensor. In front, a 24MP + 2MP shooter takes care of selfies. Lastly, the battery will have a 3,650 mAh capacity.

The Huawei Nova 3 is set to debut in China on July 18, 2018. While no information about a Philippine launch was announced, we believe it will follow shortly given the popularity if the Huawei Nova 2i.

  1. Huawei had been emphasizing about its upcoming smartphone for quite a time now. It was a mystery to all of us what the smartphone will be called exactly, what features will it behold and how will it perform.
