Sony RX100 VI
The Sony RX100 VI is the company’s premium compact camera aimed at prosumers and enthusiasts. It comes in a compact body with a large sensor, fast autofocus speeds, and a high magnification zoom lens.
The RX100 VI features a 20.1MP 1-inch type stacked Exmore RS CMOS image sensor with a DRAM chip and an upgraded BIONZ X image processing system. It uses a Fast Hybrid AF system which can focus in as fast as 0/03 seconds. It can also shoot up to 24 fps at full resolution with continuous AF/AR tracking.
The camera is the first of the RX100 models to have a high magnification zoom with a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T 24-200mm f/2.8 – f/4.5 lens. It has a built-in image stabilization that lets it use up to 4.0-stops faster speed, significantly reducing camera shake and blurry images in low-light conditions or when using telephoto zoom.
It is also the first in the series to come with a 3-inch 2.35 million dot XGA OLED touchscreen display.
Rounding out the features, the camera has a retractable 2.36M-dot electronic view finder, 4K video, NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a battery rated at 240 shots per charge.
