Realme 2 now official; Features 6.2-inch display, Snapdragon 450, dual cameras

The Realme 2 is announced in India. The handset features a 6.2-inch notched display, a Snapdragon 450 processor, and dual rear cameras.

OPPO’s Realme 2 launches in India, just 3 months after the Realme 1 was announced.

The handset comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 1520 x 720 resolution. Under the hood, you have an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with an Adreno 506 GPU. It comes in two RAM/storage variants — 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB.

As for its cameras, the Realme has a 13MP + 2MP rear module with the secondary sensor providing depth information. The front camera uses an 8MP sensor with an f/2.2 wide angle lens.

The rest of the specs include a 4,230 mAh battery, a rear fingerprint scanner, and face unlock. The phone runs on ColorOS 5.1, based on Android Oreo.

In India, the Realme 2 has a price of INR8,990 for the 3GB/32GB model, and INR10,990 for the 4GB/64GB. Converted, that’s roughly PHP6,840 (USD128) and PHP8,400 (USD156), respectively. It will be available by the second half of the year.

No news yet if it come to the Philippines.
