Microsoft’s Your Phone app lets you view and use apps on an Android phone from a Windows 10 PC

Microsoft recently announced a new mirroring app that lets view and use their Android phones from a Windows 10 computer.

Microsoft Your Phone app

Microsoft calls the app Your Phone, and it will enable Android users to transfer photos, access documents and emails, receive notifications, and send and receive text messages on your smartphone from a Windows 10 computer.

For now, the app mirroring feature supports smartphones running on Android 7.0 or newer. For iOS users, it was announced that the app will only let them transfer webpages from an iPhone to a Windows 10 computer.

The new app aims to improve the usability and integration between Android phones and Windows 10 computers, besides the usual connect-your-phone-to-a-pc-just-to-transfer-photos bit.

The Your Phone app will be available with the new Windows 10 update coming this October. More features will be added on the app in the future.
