Microsoft recently announced the new Surface Pro 6 and the Surface Laptop 2. Features Intel’s 8th Generation processors.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6
The Surface Pro 6 is more of a refreshed version, with updated internals to show for. The hybrid tablet/laptop features Intel’s 8th Gen processors and a new coat of black paint.
Microsoft says the Surface Pro 6 now supports quad-core processors, and claims it will be 67% faster than its predecessors.
What’s more, the Surface Pro 6 is said to last for up to 13.5 hours of battery life. Weighing in at jus 1.7 pounds, it still features a 12.3-inch display with up to 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD.
Like previous models, the device unfortunately still won’t come with USB Type-C ports.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 with an Intel Core i5 processor starts at USD 899 (around PHP 49,000). Availability in the US starts on October 16, 2018.
Microsoft Surface Laptop 2
The Surface Laptop 2 comes updated with 8th Gen Intel processors, more RAM, and a new coat. Microsoft claims this to be 85% faster than previous models.

The laptop comes with a 13.5-inch display with a 2256 x 1504 resolution with up to 8GB RAM, 14.5 hours of battery life, and up to 1TB SSD. It has a single USB 3.0 port and a mini display port (again, no USB Type-C).
The Surface Laptop starts at USD 999 (roughly PHP 54,200). It will go on sale in the US starting on October 16, 2018.
