Redmi 7A with Snapdragon 439, 4000mAh battery announced

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has just unveiled a new entry level handset in the Redmi 7A via its official Weibo account. The phone succeeds the Redmi 6A and features a large display and a large battery.

The Redmi 7A comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a 1440 x 720 resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, paired with either 2GB or 3GB RAM. It will likely have 16GB or 32GB of storage as well.

In the imaging department, the smartphone has a 13MP main camera with PDAF and an LED flash. Selfies, on the other hand, will be handled by a 5MP shooter.

Apart from the processor, the Redmi 7A also comes with a 4000 mAh battery. Combined with an efficient Snapdragon 439, we expect to see long battery life.

The phone comes in Black and Blue colors, along with MIUI 10 OS based on Android 9 Pie.
