Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ lands top spot on DxOMark

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G recently nabbed the top spot on DxOMark. The handset slightly edges the Huawei P30 Pro by a point.

The new king of the hill Galaxy Note 10+ 5G got an overall score of 113 points for the main cameras and 99 points for the selfie camera. In comparison, the Huawei P30 Pro is a very close number two with an overall score of 112 and 89, respectively.

For still photos, the Note 10+ is number two with 118 as the P30 Pro leads by just a point. For videos, the former has the edge with 101 points versus the latter’s 97 points. For selfies, the phablet is the undisputed number one with 99 points, followed by the ASUS ZenFone 6 with 98. The P30 Pro only got an 89 for selfies.

DxOMark praises the Note 10+ for its good details, pleasant bokeh, well-controlled noise, and pleasant colors. They also liked its fast autofocus, accurate exposures and very wide dynamic range.

With the impending arrival of the Mate 30 series, we could see another change in the rankings. Rumor has it that Huawei’s incoming flagships will come with two 40MP cameras. I guess we’ll have to wait and see when it launches on September 19.
