Samsung has launched the W27, a premium version of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra for the Chinese market. The new foldable combines flagship hardware with a more exclusive design for luxury and business users.
The W27 keeps the core features of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra while adding a distinct look with dual-tone styling, gold accents, and exclusive branding. It joins Samsung’s long-running W-series lineup, which focuses on high-end devices for China.

The foldable features an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display and a 6.5-inch cover screen. Both panels support HDR10+ and can reach up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
Power comes from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage options.
For photography, the W27 includes a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The device also has two 10MP front-facing cameras.
Samsung equipped the phone with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and 20W Qi2.2 wireless charging. The W27 also supports direct Tiantong satellite connectivity for emergency calls and messages.
