Honor announces snap-on gamepad accessory

Honor recently announced a new Snap-on Gamepad gaming accessory. The device was unveiled at the Gamescon 2019 in Cologne, Germany.

The Snap-on Gamepad is a gadget that attaches on either left or right sides of a smartphone as a controller. It comes with joystick, four D-pad buttons, an extra button and a trigger at the top. It also has a 400mAh battery that charges through a USB Type-C port.

The accessory connects via Bluetooth and is compatible with other smartphone brands.

Unfortunately, Honor has held back giving details about specific smartphone requirements, the price, and availability.
