Huawei’s next big launch is the upcoming Mate 30 series, scheduled sometime September. But before that happens, they will be in IFA 2019. And there, a new FreeBuds truly wireless earphones will be unveiled.
Huawei has posted a teaser on Twitter. The video shows what looks like a new type of FreeBuds. It will have a new kind of Kirin chipset said to “connect you to a whole new audio experience,” which is probably something like Apple’s W1 setup for the AirPods.

The new FreeBuds will also have a new round carrying case. In comparison, the FreeBuds 2 Pro has a box type case, while the FreeBuds Lite has a smaller rectangular type.
At this point, we can only speculate what else it brings — better sound quality, less latency, faster pairing.
I guess we’ll know more about it in the coming days.
