Recently, Huawei’s temporary general license has expired, causing those with existing Huawei and Honor devices to wonder if they will continue to receive software updates.
I myself received questions from friends asking what would happen to their phones. Thankfully, it seems there’s nothing to worry about.
Huawei confirmed to Huawei Central that the license expiration will not impact existing devices, belaying fears of losing Google software and security updates.
