realme 8 key specs teased by CEO, AMOLED display & Helio G95 in tow

The realme 8 is on the way, set to launch “really soon.” But before that comes, realme CEO Madhav Sheth teases the upcoming device’s major specs on Twitter.

Either done on purpose or by accident, the executive posted a photo of the handset along with the back of the retail box. And as we all know, that’s where we find the phone’s major specs, revealing what looks to be a very competitive device.

The retail box teased by Sheth shows the realme 8’s key specs. It will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, most likely in FHD resolution. A premium MediaTek Helio G95 gaming chipset will power the phone. Take note that its the same one found inside the realme 7, so that’s nothing new.

Of course, you also get a fairly large 5,000mAh battery with 30-watt Dart Charge fast charging and a “super slim & light design” which we assume is similar to the realme 7 Pro.

The camera again will have a 64MP main sensor. The image shows there are going to be four cameras in a square module. One of the design options will have realme’s DARE TO LEAP slogan as well.

In addition, the photo itself was taken using a realme 8 Pro with a 108MP camera, as evidenced by the watermark. That’s a story on its own, but its interesting nonetheless.

That’s what we know so far. We’re all waiting what realme has in store for us with the upcoming realme 8 series. We’ll cover the story as it progresses so stay tuned.

So, what do you think? Impressed or so so?
