TL;DR: Samsung revealed its new Galaxy A series lineup for the Philippine market.
Samsung unveiled its next lineup of the popular Galaxy A series in the Philippines at the March Unpacked Event — introducing the Samsung Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and the A72.
The Galaxy A series is the South Korean company’s most popular phones as it toes the line between display, camera, battery, and price.
Samsung has updated the aesthetics of the series, going for a cleaner, sleeker design with a hazy matte finish and pastel colors.
The Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G and Snapdragon 750G, respectively, with each having 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and a 4500mAh battery.
At the front, both phones flaunt a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, up to 800 nits of brightness, and a punch hole for the selfie camera. The A52 sports 90Hz refresh rate, while the A52 5G has a smoother 120Hz refresh rate.
At the back, the two phones have a 64MP main, a 12MP ultra-wide, a 5MP depth, and a 5MP macro cameras. The selfie cameras have a 32MP sensor.
The Galaxy A72, on the other hand, has a larger 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, along with an FHD+ resolution, up to 800 nits of brightness, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chip with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.
It has nearly the same set of cameras as the A52 and A52 5G, except it has an 8MP telephoto instead of the 5MP depth. The lens can has up to 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom.
All three phones also feature stereo speakers, 25W fast charging, and Android 11.
