Samsung One UI 9 Beta 2 rolls out, bringing Z8 features to Galaxy S24

Samsung has rolled out One UI 9 Beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series. The update arrives less than two weeks after the first beta and adds features from the Galaxy Z8 and Galaxy S26.

The new firmware version ends in ZZI4. It introduces several smart tools that make your phone more useful.

  • Now Nudge gives proactive suggestions based on what’s on your screen.
  • Call Brief shows events and info during calls.
  • My FanCam lets the Gallery zoom in on one person in a video.
  • Custom Now Brief cards allow you to create cards for weather, health, or YouTube content.

These features were first seen on Samsung’s latest foldables and flagships. Now they are coming to the Galaxy S24 series through the beta program.

Remember that Samsung says beta builds are not meant for daily driver phones. Bugs and issues are expected, so it’s better to wait for the stable release if you rely on your device every day.

The rollout means Samsung is pushing new AI-powered tools to more devices. Galaxy S24 owners can now test features that make calls smarter, videos more personal, and on-screen info more helpful.

The stable One UI 9 release is expected later this year. For now, only beta testers can try these new tools.
