TL;DR: DITO Telecommunity to soon expand coverage to NCR starting May 17, 2021.
DITO Telecommunity, the third major telco in the Philippines, will soon launch and expand coverage to the National Capital Region (NCR) on May 17, 2021.
The telco had its commercial launch last March 8, starting in select locations in Visayas and Mindanao. Last April 16, DITO has expanded coverage to 21 more cities in Luzon, adding the provinces of Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Cebu, and General Santos to the mix.
DITO has prepared thoroughly for a nationwide availability of services. They have recently completed connectivity with both Smart and Globe.
As for what products they’ll announce, we have to wait and see at this point. For now though, those interested can check out their 25GB High Speed Data promo, which will run until May 16, 2021.
For Php 199, the promo offers not only 25GB open access data, but also unlimited DITO-to-DITO calls and texts, call waiting, call forwarding, video over LTE, and unlimited texts and 300 mins calls to other mobile networks, valid for 30 days.
