The Philippines is banking on the momentum courtesy of Gilas’ six-game sweep of the FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers. Gilas needs to score an upset in Belgrade to have a shot at the knockout semis against any of the following teams — Puerto Rico, Italy, or Senegal. The top two teams will move to play in Group B of Men’s Basketball at the Tokyo Olympics.
