Xiaomi has finally unveiled its latest flagship, the Xiaomi MIX 4, in China. It was in 2018 when the Mi MIX 3 launched and after three years of waiting, we finally get its successor.
The main highlight of the MIX 4 is the 120Hz 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED full-screen display with a 20MP selfie camera hidden beneath the screen.
Xiaomi used a new type of display panel with a re-designed circuit array that increased the transparency of the area above the front camera. This was achieved by using their new micro-diamond pixel technology which reduced pixel size and increased pixel brightness.
At the back are an equally impressive set of cameras. The main camera has a 1/1.33″ 108MP ISOCELL HMX sensor with a 7P lens and OIS. It’s followed by a 13MP Free-form Ultra-wide with a 120-degree FOV. The third cam is an 8MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom, a 120mm equivalent focal length, and OIS.
Under the hood, the MIX 4 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor which features 3GHz ARM Cortex-X1 cores. It comes in four variants, namely 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and the highest with 12GB +512GB.

As for the battery, there’s a 4,500mAh unit that provides the power. It has a blazing 120W wired fast charging which can reach 100% in just 21 minutes and a 50W wireless fast charging, which can achieve the same in just 45 minutes.
The MIX 4 also features a ceramic unibody build, stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, and Hi-Res Audio for both wired and wireless connections.
