realme officially unveiled its latest flagship line-up, the realme GT 2 Series earlier this month. As its most premium offering yet, the realme GT 2 Series is a critical step for the brand as it aims to break into the high-end market with its latest technology and transformative designs.
Here we list down the top features you can look forward to in realme’s latest flagship series.
Eco-friendly paper-inspired design
In terms of design, realme once again collaborated with world-renowned industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to create the industry’s first bio-based polymer design inspired by the concept of paper art.
Aligned with an eco-friendly design philosophy, the exterior of the realme GT 2 Pro Master Edition is made of sustainable Sabic bio-based materials extracted from renewable raw materials such as paper pulp and fallen leaves.
These materials can reduce carbon emissions by up to 63% per kilogram and can reduce potential fossil feedstock consumption by up to 35%. The design also passed the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) and also other extremely stringent environmental regulation standards such as REACH, RoHS, and EPEAT.
2K AMOLED Flat Display with LTPO 2.0 Technology
In terms of display, the realme GT 2 Pro adopts the top-of-the-line 2K AMOLED Flat Display, protected by the most advanced Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Moreover, its unparalleled color display features 10bit and 1.07 billion, JNCD value 0.5, a color contrast ratio of up to 5,000,000:1, and has an HDR10+ certification and DisplayMate A+ grade.
Furthermore, it uses the most advanced LPTO 2.0 technology and has an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which provides exceptionally smooth visuals with optimal energy efficiency performance.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Processor
The realme GT 2 Pro is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Platform. It adopts the advanced 4nm-process technology and the world’s first ARM v9 architecture, delivering 30% peak performance and sustained efficiency capabilities.
In addition, the handset features a large heat dissipation area at a staggering 36761mm2 for up to 3-degrees Celsius of cooling to maximize the chip’s performance.
150° Ultra-wide Camera and 40x micro-lens Camera
In terms of content creation capabilities, the realme GT 2 Pro adopts a remarkable triple-camera setup featuring the world’s first 150-degree ultra-wide camera and a 40x micro-lens camera.
The 50MP primary camera draws into the Sony IMX766 sensor with all pixel Omni-directional PDAF and OIS features. In addition, the 150-degree Ultra-wide camera, along with its built-in fisheye mode, can capture extreme panoramas and large scenarios vividly.
Meanwhile, the 40X Micro-lens Camera can take extreme close-ups with amazing detail.
In addition to these features, the realme GT 2 Pro is also equipped with a 65W SuperDart Charge, 5000mAh Massive Battery, advanced Antenna Matrix System, Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo Speakers, and realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.
As the performance flagship, the realme GT 2, on the other hand, has the same capabilities as the realme GT 2 Pro, including design, battery, realme UI 3.0, and RAM. It also features a 120Hz E4 AMOLED Display, the powerful Snapdragon 888 5G processor, Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling Plus, and coordinate GT Mode 3, which can deliver the same performance experience as the Pro model.
Currently, there’s no word yet on the local availability of the realme GT 2 series in the Philippines. But we’ll keep our eyes open if news of it does come up.
