realme launches the realme 9 Pro series globally today via a livestream event. It is the latest addition to the brand’s hero smartphone lineup.
The new series is headlined by the realme 9 Pro+ which features a 50MP Sony IMX766 OIS camera, a Dimensity 920 5G processor, Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers, the innovative Light Shift design, and a 90Hz Ultra Smooth Display, among many others.
The realme 9 Pro, on the other hand, boasts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor, a 64MP Nightscape Camera, and a 120Hz Ultra Smooth Display.

The realme 9 Pro+ features what looks to be the best cameras in its segment — the 50MP main camera powered by a Sony IMX766 sensor, OIS and EIS dual stabilization, and AI Noise Cancellation 3.0 Technology. What’s more, the handset offers the best image quality in the segment which can go head-to-head with premium flagship phones, based on the recent realme Camera Lab experiment.
In addition, the realme 9 Pro+ is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G processor, boasting a benchmark score of over 500,000. It also features a Super AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 90Hz, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and an in-display heart rate monitor.
The 9 Pro+ also features Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers, X-axis motor tactile engine, and 60W Super Dart Charge.

The handset comes in three color variants — Midnight Black, Aurora Green, and Sunrise Blue, the only one that supports realme’s new innovative Light Shift Design color-changing feature.
As for the price, the 6GB + 128GB variant will retail for USD 379 (around PHP 19,500~), the 8GB + 128GB for USD 399 (around PHP 20,500~), and the 8GB + 256GB for USD 429 (around PHP 22,000~).
realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Limited Edition
realme has also collaborated with Free Fire for a special edition phone. Free Fire is one of the world’s most popular mobile games. The co-designed realme 9 Pro+ is set to be introduced to the market in April this year.

The realme 9 Pro is also a performance powerhouse in its segment with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor, up to 13GB Dynamic RAM, and a liquid cooling system. It also features the realme’s Light Shift design and a powerful 64MP Triple Camera with exclusive Street Mode 2.0, a 3.5mm Hi-Res Certified Headphone Jack, and the realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.
The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at USD 319 (around PHP 16,400~), while the 8GB + 128GB will go for USD 349 (around PHP 17,900~).
