17-year-old EDWARD of Blacklist International builds dream home from esport earnings

Remember when your parents told you that playing video games won’t get you anywhere? Well, that’s no longer the case.

Seventeen-year-old phenom of Blacklist International Edward “EDWARD” Jay Dapadap has set off to build his dream home, made possible by his earnings playing competitive Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).

In a post on his Facebook page, the young professional esports player shows the fruits of his labor, saying“Nothing beats the happiness of seeing your dreams slowly coming true through your hard work.”

EDWARD adds “Katas ng ML at the age of 17. Almost there. Thank you po Lord sa lahat ng blessings na patuloy Niyong ibinibigay.”

“Isa sa pangarap kong makapagpatayo ng dream house ko para sa family. Sulit ang lahat ng pagod at sakripisyo. Maraming salamat din sa inyong lahat lalo na sa family ko sa patuloy na pagtitiwala at walang sawang suporta. Wala ang lahat ng ito kung wala kayo.”

Despite being only 17 years old, EDWARD has helped Blacklist International win multiple-time championships in both local and international MLBB tournaments.
