MMDA suspends Expanded Number Coding Scheme for the holidays

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announces the suspension of the Expanded Number Coding Scheme for the holidays.

In a Facebook post, it was declared that there will be no number coding on the following dates:

  • December 26, 2022, Monday
  • December 30, 2022, Friday, Rizal Day
  • January 2, 2023, Monday

Motorists are advised to plan their travels accordingly during the holidays as heavy traffic and congestion are expected to worsen as people rush for their last-minute shopping.
