The OPPO Reno8 T 4G and OPPO Reno8 T 5G are now official, after silently appearing on OPPO Vietnam’s website.
OPPO Reno8 T 4G
Let’s start with the OPPO Reno8 T 4G first, seeing as this is what’s likely to launch in the Philippines on February 8, 2023. As per leaks, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It has a 6.43-inch FHD OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Also at the front, is a 32MP hole punch camera for selfies and video calls.
The Reno8 T 4G comes with a 100MP primary camera, as confirmed by leaks. Its secondary cameras include a 2MP depth and 2MP microlens shooters.
The battery is a stout 5000mAh with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging via USB-C. The phone also runs on ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13.
The OPPO Reno8 T 4G will be available in two colors – Starlight Black and the leather textured Sunset Orange. The price is around VND 8.49 million, which translates to around PHP 19,400+ or USD 362. Meanwhile, leaks say its price in the Philippines is going to be PHP 18,999.

OPPO Reno8 T 5G
Next, we have the OPPO Reno8 T 5G, which offers better specs at a higher price point. The handset is built around a larger 6.7-inch FHD OLED display with 2.5D curved sides, a smoother 120Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate.
The phone’s 5G connectivity is courtesy of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It also has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, half of what the 4G variant offers.
The Reno8 T 5G has a 108MP primary camera, an upgrade over the 4G variant’s camera. It also has a 2MP depth and 2MP microlens shooters.
The battery capacity is slightly smaller with 4800mAh, but the SuperVOOC fast charging goes all the way up to 67W. It’s also powered by ColorOS 13.

The OPPO Reno8 T 5G is available in Starlight Black and Dawn Gold colors. The device is priced at VND 9.9 million, which is about PHP 22,700+ or roughly USD 430.
