FIBA global partner TCL prepares for FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 in the Philippines

FIBA’s global partner and leading TV brand, TCL, is gearing up to bring the biggest basketball event and the best players to the Philippines. The company recently completed another round of intensive planning workshops in preparation for the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.

The three-day workshop facilitated by Fiba Marketing covered all aspects of planning and managing the tournament for all partners.

“It was a genuine and productive session where we got the opportunity to connect with all partners and bring all of our preparations for the upcoming World Cup 2023 together. I want to applaud the facilitators for the significant ideas that were offered to us,” said Loyal Cheng, TCL Philippines CEO.

The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will be hosted by three Asian countries: Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines.

The Group Phase will start on August 25 in eight groups of four teams, and the Final Phase will end on September 10 in Manila, Philippines, where the new champions will be crowned.
