Smart Communications has set up SIM registration booths at select SM Cyberzone nationwide.

After launching assisted SIM registration touchpoints at SM Supermalls in January, Smart continues to serve customers at these SM Cyberzone locations:

  • SM North Edsa, March 3-5
  • SM City Tuguegarao, April 14-16
  • SM City Cebu, April 21-23
  • SM City General Santos, April 28-30

Smart has deployed booths offering assistance all over the country in collaboration with both government and private partners and other public telecommunications entities (PTEs) to help subscribers register their SIMs.

The SIM Registration law or RA 11934 mandates all SIM card users, both existing and new, to register their SIM cards with their respective telecommunications providers by April 26, 2023. The law aims to curb the proliferation of text scams and other mobile phone-aided criminal activities.

Reminders

SIM owners are reminded to register their SIMs as soon as possible to avoid disconnection or deactivation of their mobile services after the deadline. SIM registration is free. Use only use the official website links of the PTEs.

You will also receive a confirmation message from your service provider once your registration is successful. For details on how to register your SIM cards, go here.
