ASUS unveiled its latest Zenbook and Vivobook laptops during the Thincredible launch event. The Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304) was the standout, boasting the title of the world’s thinnest OLED ultraportable laptop.
The latest Zenbook S 13 OLED is just 1cm thin, weighs 1kg, and offers a battery life of up to 63Wh. It also features an ASUS Lumina OLED display, full I/O ports, and Intel Evo certification. The Zenbook line also includes the Zenbook 14X OLED (UX3404) and the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED (UP3404), both of which provide high performance and portability.
ASUS Lumina OLED displays
ASUS also introduced its new ASUS Lumina OLED displays during the event. These displays provide more color accuracy and come with features like OLED Power Saving, ASUS Tru2Life technology, and ASUS Splendid color-gamut management. They are also Pantone Validated, VESA DisplayHDR True Black-certified, and factory-calibrated to Delta E < 1.
Additionally, ASUS offers TÜV Rheinland low blue-light certification and OLED Care burn-in prevention for increased reliability and comfort.
More care, less impact
ASUS is committed to sustainability and reducing environmental impact. In 2023, over 90 percent of ASUS consumer laptops will meet EPEAT and ENERGY STAR 8.0 standards.
The Zenbook S 13 OLED features recycled materials, such as post-consumer recycled plastics, post-industrial recycled aluminum, and PIR magnesium alloy. The laptop’s PIR metal chassis reduces its carbon footprint by over 50 percent.

The Basalt Gray model also features the ASUS Plasma Ceramic Aluminum material, which uses an environmentally low-impact bath-based method to increase wear resistance, corrosion protection, and lifespan.
ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition
Finally, ASUS announced its collaboration with streetwear brand A Bathing Ape (BAPE) for the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED BAPE Edition. The laptop features a trendy colorway and includes accessories like a carry bag, mouse, and figurines. This limited-edition laptop is designed for users in pursuit of authenticity and creativity.
