ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has just announced its brand new lineup of gaming laptops for 2023, the Flow series. The Flow Z13 and Flow X13 have undergone significant upgrades and feature the all-new 13-inch Nebula Display for the first time ever.

The 2023 Flow Z13 is the world’s most powerful gaming tablet/laptop, and it has undergone significant upgrades. The Nebula Display is a 13-inch QHD panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display has impressive pixel density and vibrant colors, which creates an immersive gaming experience.

The Flow Z13 is powered by up to an Intel Core i9-13900H and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU, making it a powerful machine for gaming and creative work. The MUX Switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus ensures optimal frame rates when plugged in, and better battery life when untethered, without any manual intervention needed. Native stylus support makes the Flow Z13 a fantastic partner for artists, and tools like NVIDIA Canvas leverage the power of AI to speed up their creative workflow.

Despite the Flow Z13’s impressive specs, it is still incredibly thin and light, measuring in at just 12 mm thick and 1.1 kg in weight. The 2023 Flow X13 is a compact and powerful machine that is perfect for gamers who want to take their gaming on the go. It features a 13-inch Nebula Display, with the same impressive specifications as the Flow Z13.

The Flow X13 is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, which delivers powerful and smooth gameplay. Despite its compact size, the Flow X13 packs a punch with its upgraded hardware and a 75Wh battery that allows for long hours of uninterrupted gaming. It also supports up to 130W charging via its lightweight and portable USB-C adapter.

The exterior of the Flow X13 has also undergone a redesign, with a unique wave pattern on the aluminum lid. The waves on the lid get progressively thicker, alluding to the “gravity wave” inspiration of the Flow series, while also providing a texture that adds grip for easy carrying. The glass itself has also been upgraded with Corning Gorilla Glass DXC coating, which increases surface hardness by 40 percent and reduces glare significantly.
